If I have two fans on the covered porch, can I use just one remote for both?
A. The Westinghouse 77847 is created to go with Westinghouse fans. You may see the issue of the remote sending the receivers the same signal. You would not able able to control each fan as a single unit, but would need to control them as one.

Perfect replacement
Replacement for a light fixture from JC Penneys that shorted out. It appeared that an individual could easily install this item - only difficulty being that it goes into the ceiling portion of the fixture.

Best Fan Control I Have Seen
This is a thermostatic wireless remote control for a ceiling fan. It is awesome!
If it is in your bedroom - the fan can be on when you go to bed, and then as the room cools during the night, this control turns the fan speed down, or off. No more waking up freezing with the fan blowing at 3AM!
It also has delay settings, and a feature that turns the fan off a bit after everyone leaves the room. Other remotes have those features too, but this one has the thermostat. We just set the temperature and leave it on all the time -- this control handles it after that. We really love it.
