Waterford Wall Sconce
I ordered 4 Waterford Wall Sconces (which was a big investment for me) for our living room and family room. I have a ranch house and the living room and dining room flow into one another. I was desperately looking for an attractive fixture that would be a good fit for a formal living room/dining room space and more casual family room. When I saw this fixture online I knew this was the one for me.
Fixture
These sconces are not the typical "gold plated" fare that you will find in the big box stores. The gold base is very solid, well made and a rich color, the crystal is GORGEOUS! You can see the quality and craftsmanship in these fixtures. The sconces at night shine a very soft beautiful prism of light --- which was an unexpected benefit --- love this!
Yes, these fixtures were expensive and as my husband reminded me there are much cheaper versions out there. However, there is a significant difference in the quality of the fixture base and the crystal. This is a truly beautifully crafted fixture. I had my previous sconces for 20 years and I’m confident that I will enjoy these for as long or not longer.
Customer Service
I called and spoke to a salesperson that was very helpful with the purchase and even honored the quoted price six months later without a question. I would rate the customer service as excellent. The lights arrived on time, very well packaged, and with no problems.
Price
Once I decided on this fixture I priced them all over (even with my brother’s electrical contractor discount) and this was the best price anywhere. I did a great deal of research and shopping before making this purchase. I was skeptical of ordering four expensive fixtures sight unseen online. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and would definitely recommend this product and LightingDirect.com to my friends and family.
