Xenon Low voltage Round button light. Dual Mounting options; may be used as a recessed or surface mounted. Shallow installation depth ideal for use in shelving, cabinets and displays; not intended for use in walls or ceilings. Generally Dimmable with a standard incandescent dimmer. Requires a Class II Transformer. Supplied with 72" lead wires. Xenon Bulbs produce less heat and have a greater lamp life than Halogen. Halogen has a greater lumen output.

    A. When using five or six HR-86 Button Lights for under cabinet application, you should use the WAC Lighting EN-12120-RB2 Remote Transformer for Track Lighting.

  • What is the height of the mount when surface mounting? When recessed?

    A. When surface mounted, the WAC Lighting HR-86 under cabinet light measures 13/16" high. When it is recessed, the height is minimal to the point of not having an official measurement.

    A. This is a little more yellow than the halogen and is 5% hotter than the halogen.

    A. You could use a 10W Xenon bulb with the WAC Lighting HR-86, however, you must make sure your fixture doesn't have a 20W minimum transformer.
