  • Can I swap out 2 of the "clamp" bulbs for something that hangs with a different pendant light?

    A. I'm not sure if you can do that, but according to Vaxcel if you do try it will unfortunately void the warranty if any modifications a made to the light.

  • Can you put xenon bulbs in this track light?

    A. The Vaxcel Lighting SP53566 fixture can only be used with Halogen bulbs and these are included.

  • I have 6 40watt fluorescents over my sink now. I want to replace them with a track system. What do I need in bulbs and track to get the same amount of light? I like the Vaxcel SP53566. Would this give equal light?

    A. The Vaxcel Lighting SP53566 uses 50watt bulbs on all 6 heads so you will actually end up with a little more light than you have now (by about 60 watts total).

  • Is this fixture designed to hang from a ceiling? Can it be mounted on a wall

    A. The Vaxcel Lighting SP53566 cannot be mounted on the wall.

    A. Thank you for your question. The Vaxcel Lighting SP53566 is not able to be mounted on a vaulted ceiling. The arms for the track do not swivel, therefore it is not designed for a vaulted ceiling.

  • Does a 12 inch height refer to the measurement from the base to them track bar or to the lowest point of the light fixtures?

    A. The Vaxcel Lighting SP53566 has a 12 inch height from the ceiling to the lowest point of the lighting heads.

  • Our electrician broke one of the glass shades. Where can I find a replacement shade that is an exact match? The light is the dark bronze finish with the brushed cognac glass shade.

Happy with this selection! This is our second purchase from LightingDirect. I am very satisfied with the quality, price and delivery. This particular track was installed one on each side of a cathedral ceiling with a "dimmer". It looks great. With high ceilings, it is a challenge to illuminate a side wall. Has some quirks The light itself is what it says. The color is accurate to the picture, but it has design flaws. The ceiling connection does not fit flush and wobbles. I read that problem numerous times on other sites, but got it anyway. I like the light, but that wobble is a design flaw that cant be fixed. If you are not going to touch it after its hung, it really doesn't effect anything. April 26, 2011
