Great value, great lights!
My husband and I purchased these lights for our front porch and outside of our garage doors. We were a little concerned that the honey colored glass might not give off enough light, but we just loved the Mission style and color and decided to give them a try. We were not disappointed. The quality of the lights are very sturdy, and they do give off sufficient light for both our front porch and garage doors. For security reasons, it does project enough light to illuminate a wide area. It is "down lighting" not "all around" lighting. So the light is nice and bright UNDER the lighted area, and more of a warm glow surrounding it. Our lights are about 6 feet off the ground, so it provides a nice wide area of light. If the lights had been mounted lower than that, I would imagine the lighted area would be less. From the street, the color is warm, and very attractive behind the Mission style panels. These lights really gave the front of our house a completely new look and feel. We love them. The lights do require some assembly to fit the glass panels into the frame, but it's not very difficult. It might be helpful to note that if you are mounting these lights onto siding, you will need to use shims to level them. The light is stationary, and cannot be angled after mounting. The packaging is very good (protective of glass and frame pieces), and we received our lights within 5 days of ordering. All in all, this was a great value, for great lights, and great service. I highly recommend lightingdirect.com and I will definitely use them again for future purchases.

Beautiful!

not much light
The design and construction are excellent. HOWEVER, the the honey opal panes are a lot darker than pictured (I am certain that the picture shown was taken with a lighted 100W bulb on). WE were planning to use this light for our front porch that we will leave on overnight for added security. You are left with a real (nice) warm glow BUT not much light. I tried to call manufacturer to request for them to send me the other lighter panes used in the stainless steel model - no go. Will be getting the stainless model but will be painting the frame black.

Nice
Lights nice, however the glass was not cut right..company did not compensate for glass thickness..needed to grind down to fit into fixture..glad I do stainglass work because my grinder came in handy with these lights. Other than that, they look good.
