Not quite as advertised
I purchased two of the Vaxcel Tertial lights in oil burnished bronze. The photo of this finish shows a very glossy surface. I think they must have actually coated the surface with oil to get that much gloss, as it does differ from the actual finish. I was also disconcerted to find that one of my fixtures had some minor scratches in the paint. While what I received is acceptable, I don't feel the quality was up to what I expected. The fixtures also come unassembled....you have to attach the upper portion with the lower ring and glass portion.....it is fairly simple, but I wasn't expecting that. (It does have the potential for the "legs" of the upper portion not aligning with the mounting/screw brackets of the lower portion). Overall I'm mostly satisfied, but feel that I might have overpaid based on what I received. If I'd had a chance to compare this one based on its actual appearance to some I saw at home improvement stores, I'd probably have not made this selection. Lighting Direct was very prompt in the delivery. I must be very close to their distribution center, as I ordered it one morning and had it the next afternoon, and I did not pay for special shipping, I opted for the free ground shipping.
