    A. The Vaxcel Lighting CB31499 Traditional / Classic Single Monorail Track Kit from the Euro Rail Tracks Collection is 12’L and uses up to five 20W bulbs for a total of 100 watts.

  • Do most of the contemporary Vaxcel pendents work on this Monorail? Does the monorail kit include everything you need to hang pendents from a ceiling?

    A. The Vaxcel Lighting CB31499 is for the rails and supports only, you will need to purchase lights as well. This one will only work with the low voltage spot lights and mini low voltage pendants. The contemporary pendants with line voltage you will need to use CB31455.

  • Do you have a transformer that will hold 300 watts total?

    A. Yes. There are transformers that are 300 or more watts. Vaxcel does not have one listed but other manufacturer's do, such as the Access Lighting LET-303-AC120/12 or the LBL Lighting Remote 12/300.

  • Is this compatible with vaulted ceilings?

    A. The Vaxcel Lighting CB31499 is not recommended for use with a vaulted ceiling.

  • I currently have a Vaxcel Lighting fixture (CB31499CH / PD31801.) One half of the rail has stopped seems to have shorted out. Will the SB31499 rail fit the older vaxcel pendants?

    A. Yes, the Vaxcel Lighting CB31499 Monorail Track Kit will work with the older Vaxcel lighting fixtures.

  • can you cut the single monorail to the size you want? if I use 2 or 3 bulbs can I use higher wattage totaling 100 watts?

    A. The Vaxcel Lighting CB31499 cannot be cut to make it any size. Furthermore you can use any combination of bulbs as long as you do not go over 100 watts.
