These lamps are beautiful. They came almost 4 weeks after I placed my order. The problem was, they didn't notify me of this until a day after I placed the order. I really wanted them in time for when company came to visit, and they were available on other sites. I would have tried to order elsewhere but didn't feel like going through the hassle of cancelling the order.
Also, one thing I wasn't prepared for was the big black cord! Very ugly! I believe that it is for ourdoor wiring since these lights are apparently safe for outdoor use. They are very lovely and look great in our family/living room which is a "lodge" theme, with leather couches and big slate coffee table. I have them on cherry end tables to tie the look together and we love it.
Thankfully, my s.o. is handy and we are figuring out how to concele or change the big black cords!!
Otherwise, we love them.

Careful
Although this is a beautiful lamp, be very careful when applying the glass dome over the bulb, it will crack very easily and there is not another option to support your shade once the glass dome cracks.
