Is the length of the cord adjustable? What height should a chandelier be above the dining table?
A. Yes, the length of the cord is adjustable. With an eight-foot ceiling, a chandelier should hang approximately 30 to 34 inches above the table. If your ceiling is higher than 8 feet, add 3 inches to the height above the table for each additional foot of ceiling height.
