Fell short
The design of this raindrop mirror is indeed beautiful and makes a nice statement on the wall. The description of the "gold leaf" finish however, is very deceiving, since it is far from having a gold leaf finish. Rather, the finish is very dull, almost pewter colored, with black specks throughout. I ended up having to add my own gold leaf finish so it could look like the sensational piece the mirror designer intended. After 3 hours of my own gold leaf work, the piece indeed looks sensational.
