A. The Trans Globe Lighting 8172 is a three light down lighting fixture. It will be open at the top to allow for changing the bulbs, but "down light" meaning that it is primarily directed downward. There will be light reflected up and out the top, yes, but it's focus is aimed downward.

Gorgeous in my new kitchen
This light is much more gorgeous than in the picture and is a great impact in my new kitchen. I love it. I installed a wall dimmer so I can go from making it a night light to 300 watts of bright light while I'm cooking. Looks great with my stainless steel appliances and cream glazed cabinets.

Trans Globe Lighting will repair or replace, at our discretion, any fixture that fails to operate within one year of the date of shipment. Trans Globe Lighting will not honor any claims for any improperly installed units, or those in which the parts have been altered or tampered. No charge backs or charges for labor or materials will be paid unless prior written approval is obtained from Trans Globe Lighting. Finishes are warranted for six months from the date of shipment for normal climatic conditions. In the case of extreme weather conditions, such as salty environment or acid rain, the finish will be warranted for three months. Except as stated above, there are no other warranties, expressed or implied.
