  • Can you put a compact flouresence in it, or some way to make it brighter? 60W for an exterior light is kinda weak

    A. The Trans Globe Lighting 69902 does recommend incandescent 60 watt bulb. You can use a fluorescent light bulb as long as you do not exceed 60 watts.

Poor Design & Construction Although the picture looks like a great product, the reality of what you receive is a different story. The globe sits loosely in the frame and rattled around so much in shipping that I got a whole pile of glass chips from the edges hitting internal bolts. Since the glass is loose, water can get in and accumulate in the base, which has no drain holes! So, water can fill up to the bottom of the socket, corroding the fixture. This is made worse by the fact that the internal hardware is cheap nuts, not stainless. I would expect all this from a $30 light, not a $67 light. As much as I liked the style, I returned this light because it wouldn't last. November 30, 2010
LOVE IT I purchased this along with the matching fixture to hang outside the front door and couldn't be happier with them. The little "bubbles" in the glass give these fixtures a very unique look. September 26, 2010

Trans Globe Lighting will repair or replace, at our discretion, any fixture that fails to operate within one year of the date of shipment. Trans Globe Lighting will not honor any claims for any improperly installed units, or those in which the parts have been altered or tampered. No charge backs or charges for labor or materials will be paid unless prior written approval is obtained from Trans Globe Lighting. Finishes are warranted for six months from the date of shipment for normal climatic conditions. In the case of extreme weather conditions, such as salty environment or acid rain, the finish will be warranted for three months. Except as stated above, there are no other warranties, expressed or implied.
