The frosted glass allows enough light through to light the room while the open bottoms send brighter light down onto the mirror. Shipping time was quick (& free!) and the product was well packaged. Installation was pretty simple other than keeping it balanced & level while tightening it to the wall. :) Looks great & we love it."

"This goes very well in our newly-painted , gold-tone dining room. Be sure to get the soft white bulbs if using halogen. The bulbs we used initially were too bright and caused the gold-tipped glass to look all white. Fixture was a good choice!"
