A. The The Great Outdoors GO 9802-PL can be installed on a standard switch that you could use to turn the fixture off at any time. If it does not have electricity running to it (the switch is off) it will not turn on. The material it is constructed from is Stainless Steel, the finish coat is either Stainless or Oil Rubbed Bronze.
