Product Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Low profile - good light distribution I have a low ceiling hallway with a closet door that swings open under the light. There is a duct above the ceiling so recessed lighting is not an option to clear the door. This fixture fit the location perfectly- it's slim enough that the closet door can swing under it. At the same time the fixture lights the entire hallway. It throws a warm "incandescent" temperature light, so it looks good in a residential hallway. The only downside I see is that it uses a custom matrix of LEDs. Someday when the matrix fails, the entire fixture will probably have to be replaced. However given the long life of LEDs, I don't expect this for a long time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from LEDs do fail One year. That"s all I got. We got two of these fixtures as part of our home remodel a year or so ago. One of them failed within 6 months. The other one didn't"t quite make it to a year. Sigh... The other reviewer was right: we can"t get a replacement "bulb" (really, a thin flat plate with imbedded LEDs).
