Is Sea Gull Satin Etched Glass the same as Kichler Satin Etched Glass
A. The Sea Gull Lighting 66060 with the satin etched glass is going to be very similar to Kichler's satin etched glass but because they are made in different warehouses they will be slightly different, its really hard to say as we just drop ship and do not warehouse these items.

Is there a white protective paper affixed to the interior of the shade. After cleaning the interior of the light, the finish flaked off like paper, but only at the top portion.

A. Thank you for your question. The Sea Gull Lighting 66060 comes with various ways to mount the fixture to the ceiling. By sizing the chain to attach to the downrod that comes with 3-4" downrods. You would be able to attach to 24

elegant lamp
After looking at hundreds of lamps for an eat in kitchen, I kept coming back to this one. It does look just as elegant hanging up. It will fit nicely in a modern kitchen or even one that has more wooden cabinetry.
It comes disassembled and just needs to be put up if you already have a fixture there, it should not take long to install. Comes with ample wire and chain, we only used about a 1/3 of it.
We liked it because it has a large shade and takes a higher wattage bulb. I feel it is a good value for the money, the lamp has a nice weight to it, not too heavy, but sturdy. We are happy with this purchase.

Love this Light!
We put this light in a wide kitchen window over the sink area. It looks so nice! Simple but stylish. Provides nice work light. Can accomodate a 100 watt bulb that can be dimmed. Coordinates well with the other pieces in the collection that we also purchased.......they are very nice as well.

LIGHTING FIXTURE WARRANTY: Sea Gull Lighting fixtures and components and electronic products, when properly installed and under normal conditions of use, are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from date of sale. ENERGY STAR Qualified products are warranted for two years.
Sea Gull Lighting at its sole option will repair or replace, F.O.B. Factory, freight prepaid, any Sea Gull Lighting product defective in materials or workmanship. Such replacement is the exclusive remedy against Sea Gull Lighting should any of the products delivered prove defective. Invoices for labor charges and / or charge backs for labor will be denied unless prior written approval is given.Any modification to a Sea Gull Lighting product not made at the factory will void the products’ safety listing (such as UL, ETL, etc or other recognized laboratory) as well as the Sea Gull Lighting warranty policy.
CEILING FAN WARRANTY: Sea Gull Lighting ceiling fans offer a limited LIFETIME warranty to the original owner against defects in material and workmanship. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied and does not cover cost of removing and / or re-installing the fan.
Year one – Sea Gull Lighting will repair or replace this ceiling fan if it is defective due to faulty materials or workmanship. This warranty does not cover the glass portions of this product, nor does it cover damages caused through abuse, improper installation, surges in current, or the acts of third parties.If a warranty claim is made in year one, simply return fan with a copy of the original sales receipt, freight prepaid to Sea Gull Lighting, at its option, shall repair or replace the fan or refund the purchase price. Please do not return glass portions of ceiling fan.
After Year One – Warranty is limited to the motor, Sea Gull Lighting will repair or replace the motor if defective due to faulty materials or workmanship. This warranty does not apply to damages caused through abuse, improper installation, surges in electric current, or acts of third parties. If a warranty claim is made after year one, simply return the motor in housing with a copy of the original sales receipt, freight prepaid to Sea Gull Lighting.
