Sea Gull review
I was very happy with the company and customer service. Great prices, good communications and prompt deliveries. I would do business with them again. (my total purchase was this light fixture, a sink and faucet.).
The quality of this light fixture was below average. 2 of the 9 screws that hold the glass shades on were bent and I had a difficult time getting them in. I had to try and put them in a spot where they couldnt be seen as well because I could not get them in all the way.
The bigger problem was some rust on the inside of the trim pieces. This is the underside, next to where the bulb/lamps screw into thier sockets. Due to ceiling height and my desired design, I mounted this fixture with the shades pointing down. Because the glass was designed not to attach to that housing, the rust was very visible. Just looking at the fixture, it grabbed your eye. So i had to hit it with some sandpaper. The rust came off, and of course, it dulled the finish and gave it a brassy red hue. Then that didnt match the other 2, so I had to sand them down so they all "matched". In the end, they dont match because the color of the rust is what gave it the redish hue. I have pretty high standards, (I'm a professional corporate interior designer) and it doesnt look great, but it's passable.
This is a hundred dollar light fixture and I should know that I get what I pay for. I did not contact the company as I tend not to be the complainer type. the finish on the "outside" of the fixture was very good. Had I mounted the light fixture pointing up (as shown on the picture, I would not have had a problem with the light except for the screws.
There were no issues with the sink and faucet and I'm very pleased with them.

Sea Gull Beauty
This light fixture was exactly as promised but with an extra touch of quality. We were remodelling our one and only bathroom (after 35 years!) and wanted the perfect light and this is it. Lives up to and beyond its description.

If you like chrome in your bathrooms
I liked the lamp because the style matched my towel bars and other hardware. I like the fact that this unit can be mounted w/the bulbs pointing either up or down.

LIGHTING FIXTURE WARRANTY: Sea Gull Lighting fixtures and components and electronic products, when properly installed and under normal conditions of use, are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from date of sale. ENERGY STAR Qualified products are warranted for two years.
Sea Gull Lighting at its sole option will repair or replace, F.O.B. Factory, freight prepaid, any Sea Gull Lighting product defective in materials or workmanship. Such replacement is the exclusive remedy against Sea Gull Lighting should any of the products delivered prove defective. Invoices for labor charges and / or charge backs for labor will be denied unless prior written approval is given.Any modification to a Sea Gull Lighting product not made at the factory will void the products’ safety listing (such as UL, ETL, etc or other recognized laboratory) as well as the Sea Gull Lighting warranty policy.
CEILING FAN WARRANTY: Sea Gull Lighting ceiling fans offer a limited LIFETIME warranty to the original owner against defects in material and workmanship. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied and does not cover cost of removing and / or re-installing the fan.
Year one – Sea Gull Lighting will repair or replace this ceiling fan if it is defective due to faulty materials or workmanship. This warranty does not cover the glass portions of this product, nor does it cover damages caused through abuse, improper installation, surges in current, or the acts of third parties.If a warranty claim is made in year one, simply return fan with a copy of the original sales receipt, freight prepaid to Sea Gull Lighting, at its option, shall repair or replace the fan or refund the purchase price. Please do not return glass portions of ceiling fan.
After Year One – Warranty is limited to the motor, Sea Gull Lighting will repair or replace the motor if defective due to faulty materials or workmanship. This warranty does not apply to damages caused through abuse, improper installation, surges in electric current, or acts of third parties.
