Can you purchase a handheld remote for this fixture than operates directly with a sensor on the fixture (we have one wire at the ceiling). Also, how much downdraft does the fan generate? Enough for a 16 x 16 loggia?

Can I use a 3" downrod with this fan? My ceilings are 8' and if I'm adding correctly, it seems that the total height of this fan would be 25" leaving a clearance of 5'11" - is that correct?
