can I move the lights on the string? The wire is very long and so few lights.

What is the distance between the first and last light...trying to determine how much length the extra wire on each end takes.
A. The Royce company does not have that exact measurement available. The string is 192" long with each of the lights evenly spaced and are 3-1/2" wide, making the distance in between approximately 6.3" in between each light. I would say that there would be 6.3" on each end extra.

Not what I expected
although the product seems like a good quality, the lights were strung on only 1/2 the lenght of the wire. I was planning on attaching several strands together and that would have left large gaps in between. The product description did not give this information. When I requested a return authorization, I had to pay the return postage.
