You said the light is not made for use with shades but does that meant cannot be used with candelabra shades?
A. I just spoke with the manufacturer who confirmed the Royce RC2161/3/1 is not made to use the candelabra shades. It has not been tested for shade use and they do not manufacture a shade for this product, their concern is that the bulb would be too close to the shade.

Nice
I wish it had worked but the information on the height was incorrect. It could not be hung on my ceilings as it would be a head knocker. The decription of the height did not include the hanging mechanism. I had to pay to send it back.
