Great Customer Service But A Poor Quality Product
We were looking for some new exterior fixtures for our house. The local big box stores did not have anything we liked so we started checking out the Internet and mail order suppliers. We found Lighting Direct and spent some time looking at the wide variety of fixtures they have available and ultimately selected this sconce. We had some questions about the fixture and called the folks at Lighting Direct. Not only did they check the manufacturer catalog for the info, while we were on the phone with them, they called the manufacturer to confirm some of the details.
The fixture was the right size and we liked the way it blended with the architecture of our house. So, we ordered 2 of them in the black finish. However, we were disappointed when they arrived. The castings had rough spots on them. The painted finish was so thin in places you could see through it. On one of them, after it had been painted, someone had ground off a rough spot and not repainted it at all - so there was a bright shiny spot on the side of the fixture. And to top if all off, the glass inserts for both fixtures were the wrong size - preventing the top from being secured to the base.
We called Lighting Direct and explained the problems. The customer support staff provided excellent service. They sent a shipping label for the fixtures to be returned at no cost to us. Once the fixtures were returned, they credited our account.
While the fixtures did not work out for us, we were pleased with Lighting Direct's presales and postsales customer service and will consider ordering from them in the future.

Minor occurrences of “wobble” are accepted as normal and should not necessarily be considered a defect.
Who may enforce the warranty:
This warranty may be enforced by the original end user only. The original end user must possess a dated proof of purchase from an authorized Quorum dealer to establish a warranty claim.
The product must be returned prepaid to Quorum International.
