Our Madeleine Family embodies classic elements of lighting design through the centuries: the cast structure with its Corsican Gold finish suggests the ornately carved wood and bronze-finished chandeliers and wall mounted fixtures of the 17th century. The Antique Amber Scavo glass bowls and fluted shades recall oil lamps that evolved to candleholders. The profuse decoration of cast acanthus leaf accents celebrate the tradition of botanical forms as decoration.
