The Modus Family is distinguished by harmonious arrangements of simple straight-edge geometric forms: cubes and rectangles and – on the ceiling mounted models – long straight lines of arms and supports, and the sinuous curves of aircraft and power cables. If this looks like sculpture, it is! Sculpting with light and metal. Edges of the glass shades are subtly rounded.

Good product & good website
I really love this light fixture. The picture is accurate so it is beautiful. Plus it is well made and easy to install. Like some other reviews have said, standard light bulbs can be too long and will show out of the shades. We easily fixed that by using ceiling fan bulbs - same wattage but much smaller.
Also, this was the first light fixture I bought online so I was a little nervous. LightingDirect is great. The fixture - shipped directly from the manufacturer - arrived with broken shades. I called LightingDirect and they contacted the manufacturer themselves and I had new shades delivered to me - hassle free - in a matter of days. I was greatly impressed with their friendliness and competency and I will be using them again!

Decently made, modestly priced and it worked perfectly with the other fixtures in the bathroom. As always, Lightingdirect's customer service was excellent.

nice contemporary lines. first package came broken, but there was no problem with lighting direct. they sent a replacement immediately. While it did throw me off schedule the end result was very positive.

Contemporary delight
I was delighted to find this simple contemporary fixture. Put small 40W bulbs in, the result was that you do not see the tip of the bulb. Although 60W is the max 40W is more then enough. I like everything about the fixture. Also very impressed with the service and expedient shipping.Will shop for lights in the future with your company as need arises.

Wonderful Lighting
I ordered three of these lights in the satin nickle finish. They were listed as out of stock so I wasn't expecting them to arrive as quickly as they did. My husband had no difficulty installing them in our two bathrooms. They look so much better than the old "Hollywood" fixtures they replaced. Fashionable, functional, and reasonably priced. Five stars!

AWESOME LIGHT; GREAT PRICE
This light fixture is so awesome to go along with my bamboo cabinet. It is very modern and unique. I got it in satin nickel. This website had the best price for it. It looks great with my bright sea blue bathroom walls and is close enough to the wall that my medicine cabinet on the side can open... SO PERFECT!

Great looking lights
The lights are awesome looking and very modern. The only problem that we had is that the light bulbs (if over tightened) get stuck in the light fixture really easily. We have three of these in our house and every one of the fixtures has this issue. The other issue (pretty small one) is that that larger bulbs stick out of the bottom of the globes. Just make sure you buy smaller bulbs (A15s).
