    A. The Quoizel NY8317 glass can be cleaned inside by reach up in to it from the bottom as it is open.

  • Hi, I saw your answer about the Quoizel NY8318 Outdoor Wall Sconce and that it tarnishes. Does this one (the NY8317) also tarnish?

    A. The Quoizel NY8317 is made from solid brass which has the ability to tarnish which some find desirable; you can keep it from tarnishing with an occasional wiping of some watered down ammonia. Brass is nice though since it doesn't corrode like some other metals.

Great experience We have ordered from Lighting Direct a long time ago but when I was trying to find the specific lights to replaced storm damaged lights I found them here. The price was slightly under everyone else on line and Lighting Direct had them in stock. We received them in perfect condition and are so happy with the purchase. Everything went so well and Lighting Direct emailed me at each stage to let me know where things were in the process. This will be my first stop in the future. August 11, 2011
We chose this wall sconce because it is decorative plus it takes regular light bulbs since we want this light to light up the area below it. It is just what we needed, the quality is excellent, and we loved being able to get this online. November 4, 2007
