      A. The Quoizel MY1723 takes 5 100 watt bulbs, so that should be plenty of light for a main light for a living room. I would stick to the 5 light, and the reason I say that is because you can always use a lower wattage bulb if it's too bright, but if it's dimmer than you need you're kind of stuck.
