  • What is the "dawn-to-dusk" feature?

    A. The dusk-til-dawn feature means that the light has a solar panel that collects energy from the sun light and uses this sunlight when the sun goes down to keep the fixture on at night. It will automatically turn off once the sun starts to come back up in the morning. This is a great energy saver!

  • Is there a light like this that does not have the dawn-to-dusk feature? Or can it be disabled? I don't want the light on all night!

    A. The Quoizel HC8407-FL is in the Hillcrest collection. The HC8406 is the same light without the dusk to dawn feature.

So Happy with Purchase I almost didn't purchase these because they were more expensive (due to light bulb) than the regular light bulbs. Also, I was worried about the light brown tint to the glass, thinking that the light would be the same (I like white light). We purchased one medium and two larges ones. I am so happy with the purchase and we installed it ourselves. It is a very attractive light and the glass worked out well. It was well worth paying the extra dollars for this light!
