    A. The biggest difference for these two lights is the Progress Lighting P6820TG is going to provide more light than the P6821.

  • Can the P6820TG be easily installed as a retrofit? I have existing step lighting but need to replace them.

    A. As long as your opening size matches and you have the proper wiring, you should be able to use these.

Indoor / Outdoor Recessed Louver Light 5 5 2 2
Stairs Lighting We used three of these step lights to improve lighting on our indoor staircase which was a little dark with current lighting. Our basement is unfinished so could run wires up the walls (still not easy to accomplish). Had the products a month, very satisfied. September 22, 2011
Adaptable and works great Although this is extesively an outdoor product, we employed it indoors to provide subtle egress lighting in a long hallway. Two units mounted on oposite sides of the hall 10 feet apart make a subtle wash of light across the flooring (beautiful honey onyx) to allow guests to navagate at night. Also, the ability to put a 60 watt bulb in this fixture (many others only accept a 40) ensured that when combined with a dimmer and a 40 watt recessed ceiling light at the end of the hall there was an even wash level of light across the flooring.
