how to install it?
A. The Progress Lighting P5741 can be installed in multiple ways. It can mount on a down rod or be surface mounted. Surface mounting hardware is included but you will need to consult an electrician if there is no power at the install location.

can a bulb be screwed in from the bottom opening

i would like to install these lights with the downrods. does the mounting plate that comes with the light work with these, or does a different mounting plate come with the downrod kit?
