  • I want to replace the recessed "eyeball" lighting over my kitchen island with two pendants to match the other fixtures I previously purchased from you. Could you explain the difference between P5040 and P5146? Is it just a difference of bulb type? Which would you recommend for over an island/eating bar?

    A. Thank you for your question. The Progress Lighting P5040 uses a incandescent bulb, the P5146 uses a fluorescent bulb. I would recommend the P5040 for a softer light over an eating area.
