  • Can this light be used in a bathroom? Also, is the brushed nickel more of a silver or gold undertone? I am trying to match it with a brushed chrome wall sonce.

    A. Yes, this item is suitalbe for a bathroom, it is UL listed for damp locations. Brushed nickel appears more silver than gold but does have a yellowish undertone to it.

Nice light, tricky to install When everything is done this light looks great, but getting to that point can be a bit difficult as some other reviewers have said. After installing three of these lights I figured out a simple trick, instead of using the round "nut" that is included with the light to attach the light to the ceiling mount, use a normal nut which can travel up the bolt, this will allow you to tighten the light up to the ceiling as much as you want. If you use this plan the installation is a breeze. July 12, 2010
Impossible!! This light is next to impossible to install. We just finished trying to install it and we have to take it back down because it is not fitting properly. This is after a couple of hours of trying to line it up and secure it. I definitely would not have purchased this light if I had any idea of the shoddy way it is constructed for the ceiling mounting. Even the slots for the screwdriver are so tiny, you can hardly fit the screwdriver in to secure it. June 9, 2010
Lovely to look at; but a mother-bear to install! This is a very attractrive fixture (the picture doesn't do it justice). But I assure you the person who designed it has never tried to install one. That is why I rate it at only 3 Stars. If you have infinite patience, and like to swear a lot when working on handyman projects, go ahead ... buy it. Just don't say I didn't warn you: It ain't easy!
