Traditional / Classic Semi-Flush Ceiling Fixture from the Avalon Collection 5 5 1 1
nice styling We looked and looked and finally found a light that would compliment our small entrance/foyer. With 8' ceilings, the flush mount configuration was too high. Thus we used 1 link of the supplied chain. Looks great but... it was somewhat of a challenge to install because our house is 80 yrs old with shallow round wire boxes to connect too. Needless to say, it required a couple of trips to the hardware store to "make it work". Fortunately, I had some odd parts from previous projects I saved. So if you have newer construction, it should be a breeze. Finish is very good and packaged well for shipping & delivery. Note: it states 75W bulbs max on the recepticle, not 100W bulbs as the website indicates. The PDF spec sheet clarifies this as well. Also, it probably will not accomodate the energy efficient CFL bulbs because there's not enough space between the bulb and the glass. September 14, 2011
