  • Are there glass panes on the top, or just the sides and bottom? This might work in a stairwell if it is covered on the top as well.

    A. The Progress Lighting P3003 is open on the top, does not have a glass panel. For this reason I do not think it would be a good selection for a stairwell for which you would view the fixture from the top also.

Excellent Bathroom Light This was the ONLY light that would fit in our bathroom due to a low ceiling over the sink. It fits great, looks great. Also, am able to use energy efficient standard bulbs. A big plus in that many bathroom lights require bulbs that are either not made anymore, hard to find, or expensive to use. April 21, 2011
Great Arts & Crafts Vanity Fixture Very pleased with the style and look this gives to our period bathroom. Had a difficult time getting the side glass pieces in place, but worth the effort. December 5, 2010
Watch installing the glass pieces Overall am happy with the purchase. However, there a a couple of gotchas. Glass installation is a pain. Broke one of the small pieces. Put it toward the wall so it didn't matter much. But should be an easier design. Documentation is minimal. Used anchors from Home Depot rather than the provided ones. Much easier to use. Looks good though and provides good light. Lighting Direct was great to work with and will buy from them again. June 14, 2010
