Progress Lighting P187TG Poor Quality My recent Progress Lighting order contained major manufacturing defects (not Lighting Direct sale fault or shipping damage the box arrived in perfect condition) --- 1) loose & missing assembly rivets for electrical box arms (I corrected myself with a pop-rivet gun) and 2) crushed/dented & unseated stamped base can heads to cylinders (I corrected by hammer forming the metal back to round & then re-attaching with rivets). I am disappointed with the hours lost on rebuilding the units --- but could not shut down the job to return parts & wait for replacements. In the past --- I have had good experience with Progress. Remodel Can I needed these shipped immediately for a problem with the cans that the electrician had previously installed. This item was not available locally, and the lights called for this specific remodel can. The Lighting Direct customer service worked directly with Progress Lighting to assure that the package was received by 9:00 a.m. the next morning. Terrific service and follow up. February 15, 2009
