Need Better Quality Control
I really ended up with this fixture because of the very limited space for the fixture and cost. I bought 2 first to make sure the fixture's dimensions and lighting level would be adequate. I need 13. It would be so very helpful for LD to always include the manufacturer's specs and installation information. The installation sheet that accompanied the fixtures should be available with the online listing. Also foot candle levels at various distances would also be helpful to determine the lighting adequacy of the fixture and necessary spacing.
I am mounting these on wood posts 6-1/2" wide. The fixture is 6" wide. They are also mounted at a height of 10'.
The fixture has a bar to mount the faux alabaster shade. This bar nests in 2 holes at the top of the shade. Unfortunately these holes are not consistently sized to accept the bar. This has required me to carefully drill with a dremel tool to open the hole so it can accept the bar and be mounted. Quality control should have made sure the sizing was adequate. All this said, if you have the space and $ constraints I have then buy it. If not, I would consider a better made product.

PLC Lighting warrants its products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. In the event of a defect during the warranty period, PLC will repair or replace, at its option, and at no charge to the purchaser, the product or any part of the product which is proven to the satisfaction of PLC, to have normal use during the warranty period. In the event of a defective lamp, the purchaser should return the product or parts to PLC with proof of purchase date.
This warranty is void if the product has been altered, misused, or used for purposes other than those for which it was designed.
Light Bulbs are not covered under the PLC warranty.
Plc Lighting shall in no event be responsible for any incidental or consequential dames arising from the use or improper use of the product.
