Does the OX9 Valve work with the Avalon Single Handle Shower Trim R89-7CB

A. The Pfister R89-7CB is compatible with either the 0X8, 0X9, JX8, or the JX9 rough in valves. You can view all the compatible configurations if you add the R89-7CB to a cart, the next page it will bring you to is the product configuration page at which you select the valve.

Is there an option for a longer shower arm?

A. The Pfister R89-7CB is not customizable however we do offer other shower arms which will fit.

what are "service stops" on a "rough in valve"? Do they add anything to the shower operation or properties?

A. The service stops are an added feature for the rough in valve. If you ever have a leak or need to repair something, you take a screw driver and stop the water flow. Otherwise, you would need to shut-off all the water to your house.

Does this come with a drain cover?

A. The Pfister R89-7CB is a shower trim only. Drain accessories are sold separately.
