  • Is this unit humidity sensing?

    A. The NuTone QTXEN150 bath fan is not humidity sensing. The humidity sensing option is the NuTone QTXEN110S.

  • Can it be wall mounted?

    A. The NuTone QTXEN150 is designed for ceiling ventilation and should not be installed on a wall.

  • Can this fan be put on a timer or do you have a motion sensor fan that can also be put on a timer or run for extended periods after it uses the motion sensing feature?

    A. The NuTone QTXEN150 does have a timer that is designed for it. There is no motion sensor option that is designed specifically for this bath fan but it may work with a third party motion sensor switch.

  • Is the damper included?

    A. The NuTone QTXEN150 does not come with damper. There is however a shutoff in the duct when not in use (as pictured).

Great Fan & Great Price This fan replaced a 110cfm fan in a 130sf bathroom with a vaulted ceiling that is 16 feet to the highest point. It is 65% to 75% quieter than the old model. Has plenty of cfm to pull the steam out of the room after showering. This model steps up from a 4" discharge pipe to a 6" pipe, so if you are replacing a fan like me, be ready for a little extra work, but well worth it. Great price, fast shipping, I would by from venting direct again. January 25, 2011

Great Price & Service!! Doing a complete bathroom redo...needed a very strong yet very quite bathroom fan. This one fit the bill. Checked other sites that sell this same exact item and LightingDirect was more than $100 less than anyone else. There service and shipping were excellent and I would buy from them in the future. One Year Limited Warranty

Broan-NuTone warrants to the original consumer purchaser of its products that such products will be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase. THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

During this one-year period, Broan-NuTone will, at its option, repair or replace, without charge, any product or part which is found to be defective under normal use and service.THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT EXTEND TO FLUORESCENT LAMP STARTERS AND TUBES. This warranty does not cover (a) normal maintenance and service or (b) any products or parts which have been subject to misuse, negligence, accident, improper maintenance or repair (other than by Broan-NuTone), faulty installation or installation contrary to recommended installation instructions.

The duration of an implied warranty is limited to the one-year period as specified for the express warranty. Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

BROAN-NUTONE'S OBLIGATION TO REPAIR OR REPLACE, AT BROAN-NUTONE'S OPTION, SHALL BE THE PURCHASER'S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS WARRANTY.
