Sometimes venting your bathroom is not an option. The Nutone 682NT is designed for just this reason! Utilizing a filter to help sanitize the air, this ductless bathroom exhaust fan is designed to keep air circulating, helping to prevent mold and rust, without needing to run ducting to the outside. The motor is 120 volts with a 1.0 amp rating and can be removed for cleaning and service. The exhaust fan is 8-1/2 inches square, and features a white polymeric grille with tension spring mounting.

  • How often do you replace fliters and what is the cost per filter? Is the fan electric operated requiring me to run an outlet?

    A. The NuTone 682NT recommends the filter to be replaced every 60 to 90 days when operated continuously or you can go longer if you turn it off in between use. The fan is electrically operated requiring you to have a constant power source; though you can put an on/off switch in between.

  • How would this work to remove smoke, and smoke odors, from a small room?

    A. The NuTone 682NT is made to help sanitize air. Because of the nature of cigarette smoke, you would probably be burning through a lot of filters, since they would leave a sticky residue. It would probably also be really, really nasty to change. For cigarette smoke you would probably want something that is ducted.

It works We had a small 6 x 10 bathroom remodeled. I had my doubts... as long as you start the exhaust before you turn the shower on it works well and I can see it pulling the steam due to the position of the recessed lighting. It could be a little more powerful but without the option to to run a full exhaust system I am very satisfied. August 21, 2011

Nice Quiet Little Fan I was a little skeptical purchasing a vent fan on-line. I was afraid I would end up with something that was loud and annoying. I needed a ventless fan and could not locate one locally, so I took a chance and ordered on-line. I was pleasantly suprised to find that this fan is quiet, and efficient. One Year Limited Warranty

Broan-NuTone warrants to the original consumer purchaser of its products that such products will be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase. THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

During this one-year period, Broan-NuTone will, at its option, repair or replace, without charge, any product or part which is found to be defective under normal use and service.THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT EXTEND TO FLUORESCENT LAMP STARTERS AND TUBES. This warranty does not cover (a) normal maintenance and service or (b) any products or parts which have been subject to misuse, negligence, accident, improper maintenance or repair (other than by Broan-NuTone), faulty installation or installation contrary to recommended installation instructions.

The duration of an implied warranty is limited to the one-year period as specified for the express warranty. Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

BROAN-NUTONE'S OBLIGATION TO REPAIR OR REPLACE, AT BROAN-NUTONE'S OPTION, SHALL BE THE PURCHASER'S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS WARRANTY.
