It says the height for this wall sconce is 26 inches. How is this possible when the back plate is 12 inches? ? That is really long.

Can you tell me where the bracket falls on the back plate? In other words, how many inches are there above the bracket, and how many below the bracket. Thanks.

The fixtures came promptly and without issue. I choose them because they didn't charge a restocking fee...buying anything online can be risky and you might not like what something looks like in person, so this was important to me.
