Transitional Three Light Down Lighting Pendant from the Fusion Collection 5 5 2 2
Nicer than I thought! This stylish, made in China, pendant lamp was very well packed and fits in to my Asian style decor beautifully. Assembly was easy except for getting the power supply wiring throuh the multiple suspension tubes supplied with the lamp which allow you to adjust the lamp's final position. The assmebled tube has an inside diameter that's just a bit too small. Another sixteenth of an inch would have made the wire slip through easily. The tubes have a nylon plug in each end that must be removed before assembly. I suppose their purpose is to protect the internal trhreads of the tube, yet there was no protection for the external treads on the other end. Strange! Mine came with four tubes; three 12' sections and one 18" section. The instructions indicate that there are other lengths available. They should have been included to give more ooptions in positioning the lamp exactly where you want it to be. Will they be easily and quickly available in the future if I decide to change the length of the tube? I doubt that the lamp will be in production at all after a few years. But the lamp is just what I wanted. Most installations will require two people. The lamp is pretty heavy due to the real glass rather than plastic. If you decide to position the lamp close to the dining table, you can see into the innards of the lamp when you're standing up. There is no cover on the top of the lamp. This allows heat to escape upwards from the three standard 100 watt bulbs for which the lamp is rated but isn't pretty to look at. I should buy some of the other lamps that are offered in this style before they go out of production. Overall, I made the right choice. November 30, 2009
Perfect fixture! I have been looking for the perfect light fixture for my dining room for over a year. I have an Asian theme in my home and when I saw this one, I knew immediately it was THE ONE. It was quickly installed and is gorgeous...casts a soft light over my room and highlights my artwork. Great service, too...I'll be back!! December 4, 2007
