Quality and style I didn't really think I'd ever spend over $100 on a simple flush-mount fixture, but this one was styled perfectly to fit in with our new kitchen. (And after spending thousands on a new floor, cabinets, countertops, and appliances, it seems silly to cheap out on the light fixtures and other accents.) I'm glad I went for this fixture. The quality is quite good, and you can't beat the looks. I like the fact that it takes standard bulbs, so we were able to play around with different color temperature CFLs until we found the right ones for our space. There are a few extra parts and installation steps compared to the cheaper fixtures I've used in the past, but it only took a few extra minutes to sort everything out. Don't expect the design features to stand out too much--the globe covers most of the stainless bits when you are looking up at it. But that's kinda what we were hoping for, so that's not a knock.
