Very Pleased with Fan
We just bought this fan, after looking for months, for our kitchen. It looks beautiful in my kitchen as it compliments our decor and the stainless steel appliances. It was a little tough to put together, but worth the trouble. It's quiet and it runs beautifully.

Attractive fan & light dome
This is my 3rd MinkaAire Supra 44 Oil rubbed bronze ceiling fan. In my Living room with 9 ft ceilings, I also bought a Supra 52 fan that dims with its own remote. The Supra 44 fans won't dim unless you have a wall dimmer. Only 1 fan makes a slight humming sound on low speed but isn't bothersome. The light dome is very attractive & sealed off from dust/bug collection. The light bulb itself is small & puts out a crisp bright light. The fans are nicely balanced and don't shake or rattle.

Annoyingly loud
I bought this fan last summer for our nursery. My husband finally installed it and he has never been able to balance the stupid thing. He says I should just run it on low or turn it off because it's not worth the effort.

Great fans
I have bought two Supra 44 fans one in brushed nickel and the other in bronze. They are perfect for small rooms about 120 sq.ft where I use them. They are of excellent quality for the price, look sleek and modern, and move alot of air quietly. Be aware that the height of the fan is 16.5" from the ceiling to the tip of the light, not 11.5". This height is perfect for my 8 ft. ceilings. Would highly recommend these fans to anyone.

Good value
Bought this fan for a spare bedroom to supplement the air conditioner. Installation was straight forward and the fan is quiet and efficient.

Moves a lot of air and QIUIETLY
With the 3 inch extention it fits perfectly in the trey ceiling yet still moves a lot of air. It is so quiet you do not know it is on. Nice bright light.

Don't like the motor noise
I wanted a quiet fan with a simple design for our bedroom. I love the way this looks, and I was pleased to see the comments that said it was very quiet. My husband installed it and the blade motion is in fact very quiet. The motor isn't, though. I hear a constant hum that keeps me from falling asleep. Now I admit I'm sensitive to noise, but my husband hears it too (though it doesn't bother him like it bothers me). You wouldn't notice it in a family room with activity, but every night we've had it on, I ultimately had to put in earplugs so I could relax enough to fall asleep. We have a similar-size Hunter fan in another room that has no hum, just the whisper of blades going through the air. Though we don't want to fool with it, I think I'm going to replace this fan.

Totally satisfied
This is a great little fan. We purchased 2 of them for our 2 smaller bedrooms. Both fans look great, are quiet and operate as advertised. The only negative comment I have is that it comes with a 100 watt mini halogen light bulb. Wish it came with a more energy efficient bulb but that would not prevent me from purchasing these fans again. Totally satisfied!
