best ceiling fan we have bought several ceiling fans for throughout the house, and this time I decided to pay attention to the airflow numbers (the higher the better). this fan really moves the air and is absolutely quiet. it is installed over the bed where we sleep to keep us cool on hot nights. installation was easy. wish we would have bought this sooner--we sleep so much better. great quality fan for a reasonable price. shipping was very fast! Well-made Fan A nice fan, with only two quibbles. One, it's darker than it looked in the printed catalog we had or online. So that was a bit of a disappointment. Looks fantastic with the acacia blades, though. Second, the rubber cap that goes on the 45 degree ball (for the sloped ceiling application) won't stay on. It pops off when the fan is installed.
