  • I understand that this model does not work with remote; however can it be used with a wall wired remote switch

    A. The MinkaAire Sundance 42 is compatible with a remote. It does not have a wall control though. Reason why outdoor fans don't show a wall control option is because it is not rated for outdoor use. You can use model MinkaAire RC212. This remote is compatible with your unit.

    A. The MinkaAire Sundance 42 is a hardwired fixture so it will need to be operated by a switch, but you can change fan speeds with the pull chain.
