it was the incorrect remote for the fan, which minka said was not lighting directs fault

Jury Is Still Out
i puchased this remote control unit to be used in conjunction with a wall control unit for my minka aire flyte fan. ever since i began to use the remote control unit, the fan's preformance has been erratic. it will stop running on it's own suddenly. the instructions say to change the code on the fan control units. i have done this once, but still having the problem. i will keep trying but if it keeps up, i will have to return the remote control unit for another wall control unit. i like the fan a lot, but not sure about the remote control unit.
