Will the MinkaAire handheld remote RC212 or RC210 work with this fan? I already have the fan and want to be able to operate it from both the wall remote and hand remote.

Will the fan work with a handheld remote control? And can the light work with a dimmer. Mine is new construction and will be installed by a professional electrician.
A. Thank you for your inquiry. The MinkaAire Napoli is compatible with the RC212 which is a dimmer and fan remote control. RC212 is available for purchase separately. It can be used in conjunction with the WC212, which comes with the Napoli.

Two questions. Is this a good brand vs. Hunter and MonteCarlo? Also, answers to previously asked questions appear to contradict. Will this operate with a handheld remote?

Can a 6-foot long downrod be used with this fan? If so, is it available in a matching finish? And will a 6-foot download increase the likelihood of the fan wobbling? (Our ceilings are 18' high).

Beautiful Fan
This fan became the focal point of my cathedral ceiling room. It's a transitional room with contemporary flair and this worked really well. Very Happy with my purchase.
