will this adapter kit fit my 44" Hampton Bay Hawkins ceiling fanI measured the part where this would screw on and it is about 3 1/2" diameter
A. Unfortunately there's no way for us to know since they are two different companies and they don't try the other companies parts. You would have to purchase one and hoe that it would fit is the only information I can give unfortunately.

What is the mounting width of the base that connects to the base, and what is the placement of the screws on the base?
A. The MinkaAire MA K33 is a light kit. It attaches directly to the MinkaAire fan. The screw is directly in the middle. There are some screws on the outer lip that hold the light kit on to the switch cup. The diameter of the housing on the light kit is 3 1/2" in diameter.
