I am ordering the mindaaire nine 3 blade 54 inch ceiling fan. I need a 36 inch down rod. Can your 48 inch down rod be easily cut by the electrician or should i order two 18 inch down rods and join them together?

Fan accessories--Down rods
So many websites do not offer matching down rods with their fans. That would have killed the sale. This is a coppery burnished gold look that had to have its own match. I believe it came in three different lengths.
