How do I reset the remote
A. The MinkaAire Gyro remote can be reset by cutting the power off. Then change the dip switches, on a handle control these switches are on the back of the remote where the batteries are. On the wall control the switches are on the left hand side of the control. After the switches are changed to your liking, turn power back on, and hold the "stop" button for 5 seconds. This process should reset the remote.

I have one of these fans and would like to add another to the other end of a great room. Would it be possible to have the one wall switch operate both of the fans?

nice but noisy
This is a great looking fan, and we get a lot of compliments. However, it is TOO noisy. As mentioned in other posts, we can't put it on high b/c it drowns out everything. We have 14' ceilings, if it was higher maybe it would be less noisy. Luckily its not in a room with a TV, or else we would be replacing it. Also pricey for what u get

MinkaAire Gyro
We needed a ceiling fan and my wife does not to have air blowing directly onto her. After looking around, we decided the MinkaAire satisfied our needs for having a gentle breeze in the room without the irritation of wind blowing directly on you.

Great Fan!
We placed this fan at the top of a stairwell and entrance into bonus room. It's great to keep air flowing throughout the area. When on high it is a little noisy but for this area, no problem. Very happy with purchase.

Fan looks great
It is definately diffrent. My electrician took a picture to show people so I'm sure it will be a conversation piece. The isolating fans really put out some air. However, there are a few negatives. 1) I didn't realize the parallel bars only rotate at one speed(slow) 3 rpm. So you get a blast of air every 15-20 seconds. 2) The wall mount control is VERY small. it's smaller than an ipod nano to give you an idea. Overall I really like the fan. I don't have it rotating unless I have company over it just stays stationary hitting the couch. On low you can not even hear it. On three it sounds like its going to take off. But puts out tons more air than a regular ceiling fan.

This is a very pretty and unique looking fan. It runs quietly and we can feel the cool air coming out nicely. We got a lot of compliment from it.

MinkaAire Gyro Indoor Ceiling Fan
Can't say enough good things about this fan. It was easy to install, it looks great and it's a wonderful focal point. We have rather low ceilings so this worked perfectly because it doesn't need to have a lot of room to work. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a unique unit.

You'll love this fan
We put the nickel one in our Florida Room and it cools exceptionally well. We loved it so much we later bought the outdoor white one and put it on our front porch directly over our two chairs. Very nice fans and they are ALWAYS talked about by our guests. The remote control is very handy too.

sounds like an airplane
We have a great room and thought that this would be a great fan to get the air circulating. Unfortunately in the summer we need to have the fan on the highest speed. At this speed the fan makes as much noise as an propeller airplane. We literally must increase the volume on the TV by 50% and forget about having a conversation from across the room. There are only 3 speeds available - there needs to be at least 4 or 5. Also, the fans turn but very slowly. So if you are sitting and the fan passes you get a few seconds of air but then have to wait 10-15 seconds for the next blast of air. I am sorry I bought this fan.
