Would I be able to use this ceiling fan on a cathedral ceiling?
A. The MinkaAire Gauguin ceiling fan can be mounted on a sloped ceiling up to 30 degrees. With the MinkaAire MA A245 sloped ceiling adapter, it can be mounted up to a 45 degree angle.

A. This fan does not come with a remot but the recommended remote for the MinkaAire Gauguin ceiling fan is the MinkaAire RC212. It does not include the receiver, but the Gauguin fan already has one built in to the fan.

great product
Beautiful and impressive. We were remodeling our deck -- putting a roof over 32 foot of it--and wanted a fan for those hot days to circulate the air......we live in a mid-size area and the selection in the retail stores were limited so we started searching on line and found these beautiful fans. We purchased one but it wasnt enough for the space so we ordered a second and they are perfect. These fans (so far) are worth the money and they are both quiet and circulate the air wonderfully for our needs and in the space we have. We didnt get the remote but wired it just in case we decided to later. The wall switches come nicely with two covers--white and cream--so that you can choose which best suits you. Overall if you dont mind the price, you get what you pay for.

Perfect
This fan is beautiful, quiet, and was easy for my electrician to install. Considering the quality the price is more than reasonable. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, quiet and powerful fan. I really like the ease with which I can replace the light bulb. the wall switch is compact and efficient.
