    A. The MinkaAire Flyte ceiling fan has a total height of 12-1/4" using the 3.5" downrod.

  • Looking for mahogany blades only. Do you sell them separately? This is for the MinkaAire Flyte.

    A. We do not currently carry the blades for the MinkaAire Flyte, they are only available with the fan.

  • How to replace bulb

    A. The MinkaAire Flyte light bulb should be replaced by turning the glass diffuser (cover) counter clockwise. This will expose the bulb and you can then take it out to replace it.

  • I have 18 feet vaulted ceilings in my living room, can this fan be installed there, also can the fan spin in reverse?

    A. Yes, you could use the 72" downrod. This fan does spin in reverse as there is a switch on the motor housing.

  • Where do I get replacement bulbs. I am in Indianapolis

    A. The MinkaAire Flyte uses a standard 100w mini-can halogen bulb which can be purchased at any local hardware store.

    A. This item can mount on a sloped ceiling up to 30 degrees.

Great fan We have 4 of the MinkaAire Flyte fans with birdseye maple blades at our Colorado home and just bought 3 with mahogany blades for our home in Ohio. Very contemporary, beautiful fans. We get compliments from everyone who sees them. LightingDirect.com is a wonderful company and their shipments arrive within a week. We are very pleased with everything we have ordered from them. Suberb I bought 2 lower priced fans and sent them back as they looked unbelievably cheap. The Flyte has high quality materials, the best instruction manual, was relatively easy to assemble, wire, and mount (my first one so it took awhile), excellent wall controls, and was nearly silent in running. It mounted with no wobble and has a very pleasing design. Air movement is great. Optional halogen light is also excellent. October 17, 2010
